Terms of Service
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and STUDIO D8 ("we", "us"). They cover tabletop: the app at app.tt3d.ai, the website at tt3d.ai and the docs at docs.tt3d.ai, together "the service". Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy tell you how we handle your data.
1. Agreement
- You accept these terms when you check the box at sign-up, when you accept them in the app, or when you use the service.
- You must be 18 or older to use the service.
- If you use the service for a company or another organization, you accept these terms for it. You confirm that you have the authority to do so. "You" then also means that organization.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a code that we send to your email. Keep your email account and your devices safe.
- You are responsible for all activity of your account. This includes the API tokens that you make and the agents and tools that you connect with them.
- Tell us at once at legal@studiod8.com if you think that someone else uses your account.
- Give us a correct email address and keep it up to date. We send service messages to it.
3. Orgs
- Work in tabletop happens in orgs. Each person in an org has a role: owner, admin, member or viewer.
- Owners control the org: its members, their roles, its plan and its deletion. Owners and admins invite members.
- The people in an org can see the content of the org, as their role and the workflow settings allow. A private workflow is visible only to the owners, the admins and the members of that workflow.
- The owners of an org are responsible for the people that they invite and for the plan of the org.
4. Your content
"Your content" is what you put into the service (uploads, prompts, parameters, workflows and templates, together "inputs") and what the service makes for you ("outputs").
- You own your content. As between you and us, you own your inputs and your outputs.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and send your content to the service providers that run your nodes, to show it to you and to the members of your org, to back it up, to keep it secure, and to support the service. We use this license only to run the service for you.
- The license ends when the content is deleted from the service. Copies can stay in backups for a short time, and in records that the law requires us to keep.
- You promise that you have the rights that you need in your inputs, and that your inputs and your use of them do not break the law or these terms.
- We can remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
- We do not publish your content, and we do not sell it. We do not use it to make games or other products.
5. AI outputs
- Outputs come from AI models. They can be wrong or incomplete. They can be similar to outputs for other users or to the work of other people.
- Outputs may not be protected by copyright. Under current US law, material that is made only by AI is not protected. We give you the rights that we have in your outputs, and we promise nothing more.
- Check each output before you use it. You are responsible for clearing the rights that you need, for example before you publish or sell a game.
- To make outputs, the service sends the inputs of a node to the third-party AI provider that runs that node. The terms of that provider also apply to its models.
- If you add your own provider key, the node runs on your account with that provider. The terms of that provider apply, and the provider charges you for the use.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- make, store or share illegal content, or content that breaks the rights of others, such as copyright, trademark or privacy;
- make or share any sexual content that involves minors;
- make content that shows a real person without the consent of that person, such as sexual images, fake images or a fake voice;
- harass, threaten or harm other people;
- send malware, attack the service or other systems, or try to get access to data or accounts that are not yours;
- scrape or copy the service or its data by automated means, except through the API and the agent tools that we provide;
- reverse engineer, decompile or take apart the service, except where the law allows it;
- sell, rent or resell the service or access to it;
- build a service that competes with tabletop;
- go around limits, plans, payments or security measures.
7. Tokens, plans and payments
- Tokens. Tokens pay for node runs. Tokens have no cash value. You cannot sell or transfer them, and you cannot exchange them for money.
- Prices and costs. The price of tokens, the token cost of each node, and the plans with their limits and features can change at any time. A run uses the token costs that the app shows when the run starts.
- Expiry. The tokens of a plan expire at the end of each billing period. The tokens of a token pack, the sign-up grant and promotional tokens do not expire.
- Automatic renewal. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. The app shows the price and the billing period before you buy. You can cancel online at any time. When you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period that you paid for, and then it ends.
- Price changes. We tell you by email 7 to 30 days before a new price applies at a renewal, and we tell you how to cancel. Token packs are one-time purchases and do not renew.
- Payment. Payments go through RevenueCat and Stripe. We do not see or store your card number. You pay the prices that the app shows at the time of purchase, with the taxes that apply.
- Refunds. Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. If you get a refund or start a chargeback, we take back the tokens of that payment.
8. The service
- We can change, limit or stop features of the service at any time.
- We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise that it is always available or free of errors.
- Third-party providers run many nodes. When a provider changes or stops a model, the node can change or stop too.
9. Our property
- The service, its software, the tabletop and STUDIO D8 names and logos, the website and the docs belong to us and our licensors.
- While you follow these terms, you get a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. We keep all other rights.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them for any purpose, with no obligation to you.
11. Copyright complaints
We respond to notices of copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
To report content in the service that you think infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@studiod8.com with:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work that you think is infringed;
- the material that you think infringes it, and where it is in the service, so that we can find it;
- your name, address, phone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the law, the copyright owner or its agent does not allow the use;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
If we remove your content after a notice and you think that it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with: your signature; the removed material and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that the removal was a mistake; your name, address and phone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal court for your address (or, outside the United States, a court where we can be found), and to service of process from the person who sent the notice. We then can restore the material in 10 to 14 business days, unless that person tells us that they have started a court action.
A notice or a counter-notice that is false on purpose can make the sender liable for damages. We close the accounts of users who infringe again and again.
12. Suspension and termination
- You can delete your account at any time in the app. This closes your account: you are signed out, and you leave the orgs that have other members. We keep your account and your personal org with its tokens, so a sign-in with the same email opens your account again. To delete your data for good, email legal@studiod8.com.
- If you are the last owner of an org with other members, transfer the org first. If an org that only you use has a plan that renews, cancel the plan first. If an org that only you use, other than your personal org, has tokens, use them first. An org with tokens or a plan that renews cannot be deleted.
- We can suspend or close an account or an org if it breaks these terms, if it puts the service, us or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. When we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- After an org is deleted, or after we delete an account for good at your request, we delete its data as the Privacy Policy says.
- These sections stay in force after the end of this agreement: section 4 (the ownership of your content and the end of the license), section 5, section 7 (amounts that you owe), and sections 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THAT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR FREE OF ERRORS, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, ORIGINAL OR FIT FOR YOUR USE. SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THAT THE LAW ALLOWS:
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, THAT COMES FROM THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY WERE POSSIBLE.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS THAT COME FROM THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT THAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT CAUSED THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100.
THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT OUR LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, FOR WILLFUL INJURY, FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, FOR A VIOLATION OF LAW, OR FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW US TO LIMIT OR EXCLUDE.
15. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us, and our affiliates and their people, against third-party claims, and the losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from them, that come from your content, from your use of the service, or from your breach of these terms or of the law. We can take control of the defense of a claim. You will then help us as we reasonably ask. You cannot settle a claim that affects us without our written consent.
16. Disputes
- Law. The laws of the State of California and the federal laws of the United States govern these terms, without regard to the rules on conflict of laws.
- Notice first. Before either side starts a claim, it sends the other side a notice by email that describes the dispute and the result that it wants. Send your notice to legal@studiod8.com. We send ours to the email address of your account. Both sides then try in good faith to settle the dispute for 30 days.
- Courts. If the dispute is not settled, the state and federal courts in California decide it. You and we agree to the jurisdiction of these courts.
- Small claims. Either side can bring a claim in a small claims court instead, if the claim qualifies.
17. Changes to these terms
- When we make a material change, we publish the new terms with a new "Last updated" date, and the app asks you to accept them at your next visit. You cannot use the app until you accept them or sign out.
- Other changes, such as a typo fix or a new contact, take effect when we publish them.
- If you do not agree to a change, stop using the service and delete your account.
18. General
- Assignment. We can transfer these terms to an affiliate, or to a successor in a merger, an acquisition or a sale of the business or its assets, without your consent. Your data moves with the service in such a transfer. You cannot transfer these terms without our written consent.
- Entire agreement. These terms, with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
- Severability. If a court finds a part of these terms invalid, that part changes as little as necessary to be valid, and the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, we do not give up the right to enforce it later.
- Force majeure. Neither side is liable for a delay or a failure that comes from events outside its reasonable control, such as a natural disaster, a war, an outage of the internet or of a provider, or an act of a government.
- Export and sanctions. You must obey the US export and sanctions laws that apply to you. Do not use the service if those laws do not allow it.
- Notices. We send notices to the email address of your account. Send notices to us at legal@studiod8.com.
- Notice for California users. Under California Civil Code section 1789.3, California users have a right to this notice. The service is provided by STUDIO D8, legal@studiod8.com. The charges for the service are the prices that the app shows at the time of purchase. To resolve a complaint about the service, or to get more information about the use of the service, you can contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
